My dog Gus is one of my best friends. Gus is a bull mastiff and he weight over 125 pounds. He is not what I would call a lap dog even though he would beg to differ. One of the things that Gus absolutely loves to do is to visit the beach. He enjoys chasing seagulls and tennis balls. Gus even enjoys wading out into the surf a little bit. He isn’t too much of a water dog but he does like chasing the waves that are coming in and out and crashing around him.
One of the hardest parts of our traveling to the beach is that we have to find dog friendly hotels that will take a dog as big as Gus. Gus is a little intimidating due to his size, but he is a big puppy at heart.
