These fighting dogs are kept in the most cruel and terrible conditions. They are bred purely to fight till the death. The pitbull Terrier is a courageous breed of dog that’s if given the chance can make a fantastic family pet. This has been shown time and time again on the TV show “the dog whisperer” with Cesar Milan. The leader of his pack “daddy” shows that you can indeed have a bull terrier that can be calm, submissive, and an absolute fantastic family animal. You should call your local police department if you suspect anyone of mistreating animals, or if you suspect them of being involved in pitbull fights photo credit: Elizabeth Patricia .

Anyone who has ever owned a cat, knows all about hairballs. They know how disgusting hairballs are and what an uncomfortable feeling it is to watch your poor cute kitten coughing her little lungs out trying to regurgitate the unwelcome hair. The reason your cat ingests so much hair is because that is the only way a cat can clean itself. They use there tongues, most casts clean themselves multiple times a day. This makes it very likely that your cat will ingest a considerable amount of hair is it is not properly cared for. The best way to make sure your cat ingests as little hair as possible is to simply brush and comb your cats hair on a daily basis. You will be surprised at how much hair comes off as you brush your pet. The hair your remove while brushing the cat, the less hair your kitten will swallow. Thanks for reading, Kegnum

One of the things that Gus absolutely loves to do is to visit the beach. He enjoys chasing seagulls and tennis balls. Gus even enjoys wading out into the surf a little bit. He isn’t too much of a water dog but he does like chasing the waves that are coming in and out and crashing around him. One of the hardest parts of our traveling to the beach is that we have to find dog friendly hotels that will take a dog as big as Gus.
If you have a cat or cats that are really good about always using the litter box be careful if you decide to bring another cat into the home. This is something that can cause many cats to act out. But it doesn’t have to if you are conscientious. We recently brought a new kitten home. It wasn’t a planned addition, but we found an abandoned kitten that was too young to be on her own and we couldn’t just leave her. We planned to take her to a shelter, but after spending a couple of days caring for her it was going to be hard to give her up. So we decided to blend her into our family which includes two adult cats, one of which has had jealousy issues in the past. I had learned all about how to remove cat urine from her earlier years, but I was hoping not to put those skills to use.

We kept our new kitty in a separate room for several days, then slowly brought her out for a few hours in the evening for a few days. She learned to use her separate room as her safe room, so she ate and used a separate litter box from the other kitties for her first month. Slowly, we let her eat with the other kitties. Then when she was big enough we let her into the other kitties’ litter boxes.

Remember to give extra attention to your older cats, too. They need to be assured that the house is still theirs and that you still love them as much as ever.

Luckily I have learned more about cats in general and how to curb behavior problems. I’ve definitely been using the new things I’ve learned with this transition. So far things have gone pretty well; it’s only been a few weeks, but we’re feeling quite hopeful. It pays to do some research and spend the time needed during these transitions. It truly pays off in the end.

The problem with getting a Beagle puppy is that you have absolutely no idea what they will be like when they grow up! Because a decent amount of purebred Beagles do not grow up to conform to the “norm,” you should know that a mixed breed will most likely have behavior or other problems. If you are considering getting an adult Beagle, you should look for ones that have proven themselves to not have negative traits. If you find one like this, don’t bother worrying about the typical problems that would ensue! There will be variations in the genetic traits of any animal, so getting Beagle dog training tips will ensure they don’t make your life miserable in the process! If you are having problems with your Beagle, ask your veterinarian for some Beagle dog training tips. If you don’t have a vet, whether it is because you do not have a Beagle yet, or you hate your current Beagle, you could always check the internet for help. People on the internet tend to be very helpful when it comes to health and animals. But if you hate your Beagle, then why do you have one in the first place?

Dogs should have their teeth cleaned twice yearly by your vet to ensure tartar buildup doesn’t decay all their fangs. Dogs aren’t like people, and don’t have the option for dentures later on in their lives. So, after their milk teeth of course, the set of fangs they have is really all they’ve got to work with. When those are gone, it is a really big deal for a dog, as they can’t eat hard dog food anymore, may grow under or over weight, they won’t digest their food properly, and may be prone to oral infections. These can have a devastating consequence on older animals especially, as their compromised bodies’ age; it becomes more difficult for them to fight off such infections. Some toy breeds are extremely prone to losing teeth, so early dental maintenance becomes critical for them. Brushing the dog’s teeth as a puppy will make the task easier later in life, and they do make dog tooth brushes and dog tooth paste to help you get the job done. Before getting a dog you should read up on dog allergies, dental issues, and dietary issues so you know what you’re getting into.
