Finding fashionable clothing and accessories can be a challenge when you are working on a tight budget. You might want to consider opening yourself to the idea of buying some second hand fashions as a way to keep ends meeting and still look fashionable. You do not have to go browsing the Goodwill store (although there are some good items there). I’ve found many designer name clothes and purses for sale at yard sales. These are usually for sale because people either put on or lost weight and they want to take one last shot at getting something for them before they turn them over to a charitable store for a total of zero dollars. In more upscale neighborhoods, I’ve found designer names on plenty of cheap purses that originally sold for hundreds of dollars. I seldom pay more than ten dollars for one of these bags.
An interesting thing I’ve noticed is that people tend to take better care of designer clothes and accessories (you can also find great shoes, purses and jewelry at these sales too sometimes). Take a look some Saturday morning. You might be surprised at what you can find.
