Motorcycle Accident Claims

The statistics show that driving a motorcycle is a very risky method of travelling on the roads.  The risk of injury when a motorcycle is involved in a road accident is of course high, if not simply due to the fact that the design and construction of the average motorcycle exposes the rider to immediate harm in an accident, but also because usually a motorcycle in collision with another vehicle is smaller and therefore more likely to come off worse.

Thus in the event of a motorcycle accident you need to be very careful to establish the fault.  There is a pre-disposition in the minds of most members of the public to assume that the motorcycle rider is the one who takes more risks and is therefore likely to be at fault.  If, therefore you subsequently want to make a motorcycle accident claim you need to have sufficient evidence to overcome this prejudice.  It may be necessary to appoint a motorcycle accident attorney to act on your behalf.
