Rapid Detox Center

People who are addicted to opiate painkillers or heroin might want to look into their options for treatment.  One option is to go to a traditional drug rehab center, where you would typically stay in detox for a few days, then go to a residential program for anywhere from about 1 to 4 weeks.

But now there is a fairly new option knows as a rapid detox center that is pretty much an outpatient procedure that involves putting the addict under for a few hours and flushing their system hard.  It is a bit risky though because some people have died during the procedure, while others have simply relapsed a week later due to their emotional addiction to the drugs and a lack of counseling and follow through.  People who have the procedure done generally experience no withdrawal symptoms following the procedure, which makes it an appealing but expensive option.
