There are two types of wicker rocking chairs to choose from, natural and plastic. Be sure to pick the right one for your circumstances. Natural wicker is made from rattan. It has an amazing look. It is suspect to the elements though. If you choose to go the natural wicker route, be sure your rocker is treated against rain, heat or cold. Also, natural wicker is not incredibly strong. Keep the weight limit to less than 200 pounds.
Plastic wicker rockers are normally stronger, cheaper and more durable. They are not as attractive as the natural wickers but hold up well against the elements.
